More Fallout 3 concept art

Post by Mr. Teatime »

<strong>[ Game -> Images ]</strong> - More info on <a href="#Fallout 3">Game: Fallout 3</a>

<p>The <a href="http://fallout.bethsoft.com/" target="_self">official site'</a>s been updated with some new concept art. This one is reminiscent of the Fallout 2 tanker (just like the music kind of is). I'll leave it to someone who knows how to use the gallery to upload the image there :)
</p><p>It's the best of the lot so far, in my opinion at least, though I'm still waiting to see something specifically <em>Fallout</em>. Also, I'm waiting to see a living creature. If it's anything like a mudcrab, well, it's ON.</p><p> </p><p>Edit by <strong>King of Creation</strong>: Here it is</p><div align="center"><a target="_self" href="http://www.duckandcover.cx/gallery/disp ... 1820"><img width="236" height="100" border="0" src="http://www.duckandcover.cx/gallery/albu ... rier_m.jpg" /></a>
</div><p>It kind of reminds me of New York City and the Intrepid.
</p><p>Thanks to <strong>LoneGunman </strong>for the tip.

Someone mentioned that the music somehow reminds on the Fallout 2 Tanker ship scene and with that picture in mind, you look at a kind of tanker, too. Maybe thats why it feels so good.

So its pure coincidence that Bethesda hits the nail on the head.

It's not a tanker, it's an aircraft carrier

I was wondering why people kept calling it a tanker when it is clearly not.

This may come as a surprise to some, but I've received confirmation from Emil; it's in fact a Norwegian fishing vessel. And no, I cannot reveal whether it was used for whaling or fishing cods. You can read that on the next issue of OXM.

Also, the various rumors circulating across the Internet concerning Pete Hines' favorite color are false and all reports of spreading such rumors will be forwarded to ZeniMax Media law department.

Yes you are. It's no 50s carrier, it's much too new in design.

I like it, especially if you take it as a general post apoc theme.

I'm not seeing much Fallout yet, though, that's my problem. So we'll see.

I swear that he told me it was purple! And that's what I'll testify to!

I love the fact that we still have almost no information about this game. It's incredible how vague these pictures are. I'm starting to think the PR department stands over the art department while this art is being created.

yes, and it's obvious too. i think i've just played too much FO2. in my head, anything that floats in the sea is automatically a tanker when it comes to FO.

50s http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Forrestal_%28CV-59%29

really really late 50s (basically almost 60s) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Enterp ... 8CVN-65%29
