Steamboy
Steamboy
Jolly good, that movie was fucking epic. It had just about everything:
- pretty
- Steampunk, bitch
- SHIT FUCKING BLOWS UP
- SHIT FUCKING WORKS(See Steampunk)
- Just generally MASSIVE shit going on all the time
- Ending(Since it's so hard to get in the movies)
Few cons though:
- kids(Not as bad as I thought it would be though)
- A bit of bullshitting, once
Totally though it was fucking awesome. Go download it now.

Serious Business.
I don't remember much but I do remember not liking the artistic style to it and not much liking the movie itself. That was ages ago though, maybe I'll rewatch it some day. Maybe not. MYSTARY?

I loved Steamboy, It's no Akira but the setting and everything is brilliant. I definitely recommend it. It is a bit long though.

Dunno. I enjoyed Spirited Away and Totoro, but this looks gay. Preview?
oh btw Koki, since you seem to be the expert 'round here, what's your opinion on this http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0293416/
and on that japanimesque flick about the two alchemist brothers in the old Germany/Austria.. (what's it's title?)

I never suspected Taekwondo and japanimation go together
I've got a hunch this 'Fullmetal Alchemist' flick somewhat resembles Lionheart, ama right?
(it's this one, innit? http://www.fullmetalalchemist.com/movie/index.htm gosh, I absolutely can't stand the style of drawing in this.. esp faces, hair - however great this movie may be in other respects)

Much like the Spanish Inquisition, no one suspects it.
Ugh, well the problem with the Full Metal Alchemist movie is that it follows right after the end of the series, so unless you watch the 53 episode series, you might be in the dark. I'm lazy so I haven't watched the movie yet, but I'm guessing that since it continues the series ending, if you don't watch the series, you'll be lost.
It's abit different then Lionheart - [SPOILER, like any of you care]
The main character is from an alternate universe where Alchemy (Read: Magic) is available. The character at the end of the series is transported into our universe during WWI era England. I could go on, but I think that's enough explanation.[/SPOILER]

Metropolis is really really great. And very different from most anime movies.
I've heard of Full Metal Alchemist often, but never got to watch them; it looks a bit childish.
I can't really suggest anything new, just the usual good anime movies; all of Studio Ghibli(Spirited Away, Mononoke, etc..) Akira, Jin-Roh, Metropolis, Ninja Scroll... there must be a few others.
It seems with anime movies it's either all good or all bad.
