I wouldn't think there would be enough people alive after the apocalypse to do an FPS Fallout. To make a shooter fun you gotta have lots of people to kill.
I honestly wouldn't mind an FPS Fallout as long as its not disguised as a true sequel. The turn-based combat made every enemy in Fallout dangerous because you can't just run and hide. In an FPS you can clear a room full of baddies with a shotgun and not even think about it. Fallout's combat wasn't perfect but it definitely got you praying your armor wouldn't be penetrated by the bastard with the laser pistol.

I never said there is no way to make your own landmines. I just say, that 1 or 2 plasma rifles in the entire game would be enough.
Maybe a bunch for the Brotherhood but you get the point.
I mean... comeone... do you remember the feeling you had as you got your Turbo Plasma Rifle in Fallout 1? It was so much better than the useless amount of stupid weapons in Fallout 2. Half of the stuff in Fallout 2 was kinda decoration.

I agree there.Dreadnought wrote:I never said there is no way to make your own landmines. I just say, that 1 or 2 plasma rifles in the entire game would be enough.

A lot of laser weapons would be silly.

I liked how the Salvatores made deals with the Enclave, but later on Laser Weapons became pretty obsolete. So yeah, something like the Salvatores but make them lots stronger, a real 'superpower' of the wastes. Fucking up the Salvatores was way too easy.

Hehe. Yeah. Stealing the old suckers shit was fun. Wasn't there even a way to poison him with a stained bottle? Or did I mess shit up with the Writh quest now? Or the guy in the NCR, the one one with the ranch. I think I am trippin' again.

Not sure about either.
I just stole that thing.
I have not done the 'kill the NCR guy' lead.
I did once get bored, and break Salvatore's arms, legs and such, then gave him a bunch of stims. He would hobble away, and I would beat on him again.
Ahhhh, good times.
There was one of the crime bosses you could kill with Jet.
Is that what you are thinking of?

there were tommy guns in f2 but they were found in new reno, and by the time you got there, there wasnt much use for submachine gunsTNP wrote:I think a Tommy Gun (Thompson A1 for all you nitpickers out there) would be very sweet. Of course we're not gonna get the game we want anyway, but this weapon would be pretty sweet to use in a Fallout game I think.
i dont remember if it was in f1
