Origins of newest concept art revealed!

[ Game -> Images ] - More info on <a href="#Fallout 3">Game: Fallout 3</a>

Wow. That didn't take long. Just like with <a href="http://www.duckandcover.cx/forums/viewtopic.php?t=17511" target="_self">the last image</a>, Bethesda's newest concept art has elements of real world locations and objects. Brothernone has made the following image to illustrate: <a target="_self" href="http://www.duckandcover.cx/gallery/disp ... 1825"><img border="0" src="http://www.duckandcover.cx/gallery/albu ... ll_m-1.jpg" /></a>The image captions detail what exactly the object is and where it's located in the real world. Unlike the speculation surrounding the carrier image, Paradise Falls does not appear to be based on a real location.Thanks to LoneGunman for the tip.

I'm rather amazed that how much those guys use real material as the base for the work. I must say that my professional view of them has been lowered slightly. Tsk tsk. lazy bastards.

Or those pictures are really really REALLY fast work.

I think the jury is still out as to whether this is actual concept art from the game. My feeling is that this artwork is just meant to picque interest and demonstrate abilities.

Well that's true. Still copying shit isn't really a good way to demostrate ablities... It's fast work for concept art (and it doesn't need to be more than that), but into public....err...
