I like the pic a lot.
It's definitely post-apoc and it's even got some googie style elements. (yay)
Yea it is too roadwarriory and the shouldn't be (that much) clouds, but these aren't major issues.
It's generally looking good. I feel like exploring; do you?

I mentioned the two rear axles on the highwayman on the bethesda forums with a comment stating my opion on this matter:

I like it.

Stop complaining about the Sky, we never saw the damn thing in Fallout. Some plants lived in the wastes, crops were farmed, and it was pretty brightly lit during daylit, thus I must assumed Fallout's sky did contain a sun and the odd cloud X.x

Love it. Think it's exactly as it should be. And I think Zetura Dracos was dead on about this not being too bad of a perspective for a Fallout game; it could certainly be worse.

For those who are saying that this picture looks too "real," I would argue that if it were more cartoonish you'd say it's too "cartoonish." Quick nit-picking.

Are we seriously going to have a debate about clouds? Let's talk soil-erosion too while we're at it.

I'm not watching those youtubes but Fallout (1and2) art had a good amount of clouds here and there, but for me the most convincing bit is the picture with VDweller walking away towards the wasteland horizon. This one's cloudless.

yeah I thought that image was cloudless too. I guess the wasteland simply left a scorched, arid image in our minds.

If you look closely at the picture, there seems to be an invisible image (or nearly so) in the right hand side of the picture down in the farthest lower right hand side. The picture seems like a skeleton of some sorts??

try looking at the far left side --- in the foreground --- and focus your eyes....

Yes, this is by far the best picture yet. Very fallouty, imo. Although it is more of a feeling I get than a rational explanation...

The Power Armor is not only Brotherhood armor, it was a standard piece of equipment before and during the Great War.

And if they treat FOT as canon or semi-canon, remember that the cancelled FOT2 took the Eastern Brotherhood as far East as Florida.

Which is the exact opposite corner of the country that Fallout took place in, so it makes sense they'd be other places too. If I were in Brotherhood leadership, I'd obviously want to try and get to DC.

Still, even though I think that the general story of FOT can be somewhat reconciled with FO1 and FO2 if the major inconsistencies are retconned, and I actually liked the idea of a fascist BOS splinter faction, I don't think including the Eastern Brotherhood in the FO3 story in a major way is a good idea, even though I wouldn't mind some mentions of it or some minor cameos.

I don't know how you can say the helmet is clearly PA. I can't see anything more than a blocky construction of shadow.

Also, as per counting FoT as "canon" (god help us all), the Eastern Brotherhood is massive compared to the Brotherhood, as they openly and rapidly recruited personel from all over to quickly and constantly expand their ranks.

And, as far as PA being stockpiled, (again we deal with a "canon" issue) I seem to recall the FO Bileball stating something to the effect that nearly all the US PA was shipped to the Alaskan and Chinese fronts.
