Possible Vault-Boy sighting
[ Game -> Update ] - News related to Top Story: Fallout 3 news | More info on Company: Bethesda Softworks | More info on Game: Fallout 3
Socrates200X, a programmer working on Fallout 3, has this image hidden away on his website. It looks like a book-cover, and features the text "So you've become a vampire", "Introducing you to your new un-life" and "Tenpenny Press". Moreover, it also features an image of a vampire with a striking resemblance to Vault-Boy.
A close look at the vampire:

The original Vault-boy:

While the resemblance is striking, I doubt that we can make any conclusions based on this picture.
EDIT: The site became unavailable only minutes after I posted this story, and now only features a Geocities error message which proclaims that it has "temporarily exceeded its data transfer limit".The message appears to be genuine, and Geocities does have a very low bandwidth limit. The original image can now be found here.

You should see some of the other Photoshopped Vault Boys we have floating around here...
Anywho, that explains why my in-laws can't access our wedding webpage. My fault for throwing open my tiny Geocities site to the concentrated effort of the Glittering Gems.

Slow news day, huh?
Mr. Soule has not done and has no current plans to write music for Fallout 3.

Was there some sort of supposition on the NMA forums that this Soule fella was the creator of the music?Brother None wrote:Mr. Soule has not done and has no current plans to write music for Fallout 3.

All his scores sound like someone is about to blow up or save the entire world any second now. I did like some of his more subdued Icewind Dale stuff though; that had atmosphere.Zetura Dracos wrote:Good fucking deal. That man hasn't put out a score yet that didn't sound like Oblivion.
