I just got back from it and it was surprisingly pretty good. Has a lot to do with killers and killing stuff, very Nicolaish I guess.

Go see it and tell me what you think.

in other news, I just saw 'thank you for smoking' - skillfully done but nothing original. And the journalists' 'punishment' was so forced D:

See "In the Company of Men" it's essentially the same character squared. That film is ruthless.

suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

I just recently bought it on sale, having had it recomended by a friend - I rather liked it. It's true that there's nothing original in it, but quite a lot of good moments and punch lines which makes it worth while.

At the same time I made the mistake of buying "The brothers Grimm", which I now only want to burn in the fires of hell. What the fuck where they thinking?

will do - if I can get ahold of it. Nice to see you sticking around.

yeah, like I said, skillfully done. However it's sometimes dangerously close to the type of film whose sole purpose is to have teh greatazt punch lines EVAR! D:

it's for the lolz. It's basically as worthwhile as 'thankyouforsmoking" - just a different kinda flick. It's not great, but will make fine accompaniament for your dinner. I have this special category for films: "dinner movies"

Really? I categorized Brothers Grimm as a "date rape" movie. B)

Gilliam redeemed himself with Tideland, in my humble opinion.

Sorry mr. atoga but I generally don't go to the movies to see those kind of movies (comedies) because my dad and I are thriller/action buffs. When it comes out on DVD i'll be sure to rent it and give you the full scoop if you still need it.

Vass: "Gilliam redeemed with Tideland"
oh ya. Neat flick indeed. 'Brazil' is still Gilliam's best, followed by 12 flowers.

Capitalizing on a Van Hellsing-esque movie for money.
