Why should there be a pop up ?

Have a few people that'd know the info, one of the customers prehaps ?

Wait, that reqires basic intelligence for propper quests .......

there doesn't really need to be a pop up thingie, it was just the best thing I can think of in the spur of the moment. You could also have the main character asking about the skooma dealer's death, and then getting to know that 'yes, he is dead, but for a price (hehe) I can tell you how to go see to get your info' or something like that. Or one of the customers could also know the info

---- of course or know how to point the main character in the right direction...

Thats how most average quests should be anyway, on average no one person holds the knowledge to themselves, there should always be a few alternate ways.

I vote we ban any Bethesda devs from the forums along with people who remain "cautiously optimistic."

It's obvious with yesterday's blacklisting of anything NMA at the Beth forums Fallout fans are not welcome. Well I say none of them are welcome here.

I'm aware of that, but they're also using the same bullshit reasons used for blacklisting RPGCodex. The best thing I see us doing is going on an all out offensive bringing down their forums with nonstop spam. It worked so well at the Interplay boards. Just need a couple wackos like Megatron with a list of proxy servers and a little imagination.

The end result will be his turning moderated posts on, so he has to approave every single post personaly.

At that point, we write copypasta (long drawn out stuff that means nothing, or has hidden messages) and general spam.

Basicly, then he has to sepnd lots of time reading long posts and has to choose, ignore the blog, shut it down, or just deal with our shit.

Please note that ashleys blogg IS his own PRIVATE blog and has nothing to do with Fallout 3 - other than Ash being a FO3 producer. (please also keep in my ming that his mother, his wife and children read his blog).

Also, I don't believe that spamming & trolling will get you anywhere...but that's just me...
