Oh noes, Citizen Kane is numero uno!

Talk about music, movies, TV, books, other types of entertainment and what your vices are. Also, if you're addicted to the high you get off Aspirin, this is the place to talk about it.

This is where reading comes in handy. The last time they did the list was 1998.

The Sixth Sense is on the list now? What the fuck?

That was my reaction exactly. That was an incredibly boring and shitty movie. One twist doesn't make a great movie; it makes an episode of the Twilight Zone.

Keep in mind this poll includes current movie stars, which means idiots like Sean Penn and Michael Moore may have voted.

I think I prefer the BFI list anyway.

I wasn't sure if they did it every years thats why I said "or whatever" and the only reason I said every year was because cimmerion said it before me and the internet doesn't lie.

"Why is it necessary to do this shit every year?"

The 6th sense introduce a giant flow of "zomg suprise" type shitty movies, so it very influential. My friend made fun of the guy who made 6th sense with the weird name saying how all his movies story like sound like they are made up by a 5 year old with all the "AND THEN HE WOKE UP AND REALIZED IT WAS ALL A DREAM." Seriously, anyone could make a better story than he can.

I actually liked The Sixth Sense, beyond the ZOMG TWIST ENDING, but one of the best movies of all time? Please. Aliens should be on the list in that case, because it really is one of the best movies ever made, as well as being hugely popular and released in the last 20 years. Critics just don't take it seriously because of all the action and gooey animatronic effects. Which is why critics are morons.

I don't see The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly so this list is void. And the sixth sense really wasn't that good. It was cool because it was a pretty wellmade surprise ending movie before everyone and their mother started making shitty surprise ending movies. Give me Twilight Zone any day.

more like action movies (in a loose sense) are always snubbed by critics? i know at least a handful of scifi movies are well regarded and on such lists, ie. 2001 and brade runnah, although i'd guess most critics are unwilling to take most science fiction seriously. how kubrick
