Ouch... well I know what you're saying. Too many of my drawings do seem uninteresting once I finish and look back on them. I only recently decided to reaaly focus on art and I'll be the first to admit that I have a long way to go... but I have already improved greatly over the stuff I was doing six months ago.

I am basically self-taught so I am lacking in some fundamental skills that I chose to avoid instead of confront. Basics such as anatomy, image design/ layout, shading are areas I have confronted slowly but up until a year ago I really never bothered with shading, detailed anatomy, or worries about layout and color schemes.

This is why I post my shit on here. Deviantart is basically a big circle-jerk. I know you guys will tell me if something sucks.

nah, nigga, its not about the graphics, its about dialogue and the ideas behind it, ya know. I don`t know how you start, but basically you should first write it down on a notepad and then overthink it liek thousand times and if you are confident with it, then start da painting.

ehue, don't worry, Dogmeatlives, you'll get better with time. It's always a good idea to get inspiration and learn new techniques from time to time, though.

Out of 100 shitty pics there will be one good pic, it's the same with other artsy stuff

All cool, as I said, your style is bueno, but you need some substance in your comics.
Don't get that as an insult, but maybe let someone else write the story/jokes/whatever, and you illustrate it.
Most big comic artists have other people writing for them. It's nothing to be ashamed of.

I didn't take it as an insult. I know what you're saying. I have always struggled with dialogue. The problem I have is that I will completely finish the drawing and give almost no attention to dialogue, then I will come up with shit that sometimes fits awkwardly in. It would be cool to collabarate with someone that could really write. Also I need to focus on body language and expression and design in general.

This fall I am taking creative writing and Intro to Design so that'll give me some XP points.

Speaking of crummy dialogue, the next Bauma Adamhach should be done tomorrow, not much happens until he gets away from the Vault entrance but stay tuned anyway.

I wouldn't really know how to go about it, but that would be awesome if you wanted to try it out. I guess I could do a comic or something, just drawn out and hand it over to you with my general ideas and whatnot, and you could try to put in some snappy, interesting dialogue.

I'm actually slowly working on a twilight zone-ish comic about a pair of astronauts stuck in a small outpost on Mars. I ahve the first four pages all layed out but I am stuck with where the story is going. Its pretty serious so no funny dialogue required. Urizen, I could send the pages I have out to you and see what you think. I'm sure you could improve upon the dialogue I already have and maybe help me come up with some interesting and twisted ending. I was thinking of something like Lovecraft and The twilight zone.

Why would you pick Urizen to do dialog and story when you could have megatron do it x100 times better?

Urizen volunteered... plus the last time I worked with Megatron, he kept demanding royalties. He's a bit of a prima donna.

What has the word "Blitz" to do with the picture in combination with naked tits, this is a insult to the german language, we sould immediately invade your uncivilized country.

also, a true artists knows, that art pictures don`t need any words. i can`t say more about those picture, they don`t make lot of sense, ya know?
