Running it on max. Surprised at how easily my comp handles the water effects, seeming my video card is the weak link on my system. Not using vista, because I'm not a capitalist pawn :che:

Next GTA comes out around March or April.

Bioshock is like the demo but longer :) It's pretty cool.

I just got myself the Special Edition with bonus DVD, metal box, an EP (the CD looks like a vinyl record) and the figurine! :D

Edit:

Of course I'll leave the figurine in the box, so I can sell to some nerd in a few years.

Will all the GTA III fans call it inferior to GTA III and denounce anyone who prefers GTA IV?

Bad comparison, but its more the GTA 2D fanbase, who thinks like that. It`ll fit probably more to Mafia 2, though.

I bought the Collectors edition today (cost the same as normal version and I were in the store buying some books anyways).

I really like Bioshock, the console whoring is evident when playing it but far from enough to break the game.

The atmosphere is very very good (a very nicely done 1950ish), I really got into it at time when dodging splicers and stuff, the controls decent, I dont like the clear distinction in where you are supposed to be and not (being unable to jump on stuff that should clearly be accesible and some areas being linear like hell).

They have made most areas pretty diverse though, so you can run around checking stuff out but I still get the guiding hand feeling sometimes and that annoys me.

The plasmid powers and upgrades are fun, the hacking system repititive but a decent way to add at it anyways, it mostly is for getting machines to do your will anyways which is the cool part of it.

My biggest :( point is that I know it could have been better if they hadnt whored out to Xbox360 and made the game PC only, removing some of the simplistic stuff, there arent alot of it but its there and it could have been kept out and made an even better, more elaborate game.

After a rather hefty download of the demo that seemed like forever, I finally got it installed. And were amazed that the demo played on 4 year old system with its updated geforce 6600GT card. But it did...

I was also content to find out that I could the game's quest aroow OFF or ON at my leisure. Nice feature this is...

edit:
When I first entered the game, I thought ot was a cutscene, but then I saw something about movement and I pressed W --- and I swam. Terrific start...

I use the arrow to know which way NOT to go, if I go that way I accidentally rush through parts which suck, so I found it annoying at first but adapted to use it, didnt notice you could turn it off.

I really like the sphere descent time, because when he's like "I chose... RAPTURE" it opens onto DX1. I was like "Fuck yeah, Denton reporting"

I had no reason to, I dont collect and I dont sell stuff so leaving it in the package is a waste of space to me, so I took it out and placed it next to those Gollum and Minas Tirith figurines I got with the Lotr DVDs.
