in SuAside's demo, the mutant's entire leg was blown off with a .22 calibre hunting rifle

Nope, he looks, well, normal. He didn't smile, tho', he was really tired (it was the last demo showing over 4 days time, the one I saw)

I should've grabbed the Xbox used for the demo and made a run for it, yeah

Also, just noticed that part about the music in the NMA preview. That's really quite disappointing. Fallout's music has to be like that wonderful Mark Morgan ambient music. There could be sound effects and little music riffs (like Redding), but there are no orchestral themes or anything like that playing in the background.

Pretty much, its little things like that that may ruin the game more then anything else. The music in Fallout and Fallout 2 are wonderful. I listen to them all the time in my car or when I'm painting, never gets old. To be replaced by random generic BS is kinda dissapointing.
