I ditched the previous stock I had on my .338 Mauser and went for a Bastogne Walnut one in Grade A fancy with this style (from the same people). And I sported for a 45° ebonytip & cap. I love the grain on that thing, and the dark stain looks fantastic. I'll need to get some pics up someday. I like it way more than the synthetic I had before. Not too flashy, but it has class.

What's the point in buying a hundred dollar plinker and then blowing 200 dollars on the stock? Some people go apeshit trying to make their guns more accurate. I have a friend who's idea of accuracy is 4 bullets in the same hole at 1000 meters. Mine is hitting a man sized target at 300. Some people just have too much damn money.

When the dime sized aliens, whose lasers only have a range of 990 meters, arrive to take over the earth, you'll understand.

Most of the accuracy talk comes from a guy who claims he saw someone hitting 10 inch steel plates with 100% accuracy at 1500 meters with a STOCK AR-15 with iron sights. Only if by iron sights he meant SCOPE and by stock he meant match grade barrel and trigger with countless other accuracy increasing implements. I believe someone could hit at that range with an AR but not with 100% accuracy.

According to my perception to reality there is no such thing as 100 %.

There are not bricks either.

Hahahahahah! That's fucking comical, seeing as you'd need to loft those damn .223 rounds like crazy to even get them that far.

by assassination pistol did you mean the takarov? i believe it fires 7.62 x 25 or 29...

and gore...yeah...the synthetic sporter version of the nagant are a fucking travesty beyond belief.

as for dif. versions of the ak...they're all basically the same (47 at least), though w/ each nations twist on it. when i get my camera back i'll take a few pics of my romanian wasr-10 ak-47.

pricewise was $425 brand new, 2 mags, bayonet, cleaning kit, sling, teardrop mag pouch that can hold 4. which is a pretty damned good deal around here it seems...

also - is it just the US, or is the rest of the world: 7.62 x 39 is getting very hard to find right now and the price is going up quite a bit the past few months.
