Bank loan, or student loan, also, having a credit and not being prone to misuse it, is perfect for situations like this.
I however, am nothing BUT prone to be using it, maxing it, and going over the limit each month. I'd cut my card, but I can't. I just.. can't.
If you're not an OHEMGEE-I-MUST-PARTY-AND-GET-DRUNK-EVERY-WEEKEND kind of girl, then I suggest you take your weekend nights/days and work at a 7/11 or gas station. It's easy work and it pays alright.
If you have random time on weekdays for work, you can try being a "vikar", talk to "Manpower" or some other agency that does this. They'll phone you every once in a while with job offers etc.
Also, I don't know where you live, but in Copenhagen, Frederiksberg HTX, there's a school for optometrists as well, they do free tests, and sometimes they can make glasses for a smaller fee than your regular stores.
Nothing guaranteed though, and it IS a school, so there is the risk that it might not be 100% perfect.
Before I got my job, I lived off my loan, inheritance and odd jobs, trying to make ends meet. I'd pay late every time there was a bill, barely covering it, and living off noodles and rice.
It might seem kinda desperate to take these small-jobs, but I think it might be perfect for your situation.
hardest part is cutting down on your own time and time with friends. You might have to give your study 110%, the rest on work, and when you have a breather, get food and/or sleep.
Well, that, or take the credit like I said, and pay it off slowly.

Also a possibility.
I remember reading about this girl who was still studying, she had her own website with softcore stuff, but the "interesting" thing was that she sold stuff, like her used underwear, toys and stuff. Also more weird stuff, like her used hygiene pads, on request.
I'm sure dread is a frequent buyer.

Nothing`s too much for your own health. You can regain that money after, but I cannot say the same thing for your eyes...also we are speaking about eyes, try to find the solution(Whatever it is) as early as you can.
What can you do for quick cash?...First certain step:Get away from the PC; I don`t know the rest. You should`a know your paths for such opportunities in your life. After all you`re a smart girl right?

I cannot undertake another loan or increase the one I already have - the bank simply won't allow it. And I'm already on a student loan next to the regular bank loan. So far, I think my only opportunity is to find some kind of evening job - maybe go back to being a phoner or an evening tech supporter, and work as much as possible next to studying.
But yeah, so far my plan is to get a second opinion at an eye doctor's place within the next couple of days and then to try and get the government to foot some of it if possible.
Also, the glasses are already bought. Or, well, I've signed the agreement to pay for them in small amounts every month and they're being crafted right now. I'll get them in about a week. I'll be sure to post pictures in the pic thread when I get them.

The small payoffs thing w/ the glasses doesn't sound that bad for you, it being in small installments. What i'd say is study up on the therapy and see if there are small exercises you can do on your ow nthat will help ENOUGH....worst thing would be to have to pay up front and have the most retardedly easy you could have figured it out stuff be told to you, and be charged insane amounts for it.Tingel Tangel wrote:I cannot undertake another loan or increase the one I already have - the bank simply won't allow it.
