Girl, Interrupted
Fun to see Angelina Jolie being a fucking whore.
OK film.
I was i bit annoyed with the "dyke" person being incarcerated as insane not being addressed by the film.
Like her rich parents put her there instead of a state institution as if she could be "cured".
whatever
I also watched Buckaroo Bonzai and Tequila Sunrise over the weekend.
Peter Weller, of Buckaroo Bonzia and Robocop fame was also cast in Naked Lunch.
Fabulous job on Naked Lunch. "It's bug powder" ... just perfect.
The woman was also great in her drugged state. She apparently never had any drugs in RL but looked just perfect. I know what it should look like and she did it just right.
Weller holds a Masters Degree in Roman and Renaissance art, and is an occasional lecturer at Syracuse University on the subject of Hollywood and the Roman Empire.
Tequila Sunrise was fun to watch.
Snake Plissken and Mad Max fighting over Michelle Pfieffer.
good
So, an y comments?
What did the rest of you watch over the weekend?

Funny you should ask - I was going to post a "Renter's Review" in the wasteland, but this'll do.
Innocence - French film - not bad, the first 30 minutes were SLOW, but it started to pick up, good atmosphere of sinister-ness, but all of a sudden it ends. I wouldn't recommend it. It was like Tiramisu without espresso - almost perfect, but ultimately lacking.
28 Weeks Later - Take everything good about 28 days later and throw it out the window. There you go.
Room 1408 - Decent film, but I really would've liked to know WHY the room was evil, or what evil force was behind it. Good movie, but not a lot of plot develoment / character development.

Saw Walk the Line last night. Pretty good. A little better than Dennis Quaid's movie Great Balls of Fire about Jerry Lee Lewis. Both are kinda similar. I wish they had more of Cash with his family before they left (besides the deleted scenes). Would've been a little more meaningful or whatever.
Made my girl watch Raising Arizona a couple nights ago.
