The Arena!!!

*Using the tip of his sword, Haplo creates a complex system of runes in the air that creates a shield of light into being. The shield absorbs the spells that Reaper directs at it... Haplo looks at his shoulder, and yanks out the shard of ice. He then closes the circle and does a surepticious healing of the wound using more rune magic. Haplo looks around. Wolf is going blow for blow with the dragons, but since Wolf cannot die, he is not overly concerned. However Reaper poses the greatest threat, and deseves his full attention. To do that he has to dispose of the others, quickly.

The demon is the easiest to take care of, and S_M is out of the fight. BJ is around here somewhere, but I can't find him while he's cloaked.... Okay, I know what to do now.

*Haplo suddenly materializes behind the demon. The others watch as his sword appears out of the demons chest, and quickly slides upwards. The demon immediatly dies, having his upper torso cut in two. Letting go of the sword with his left hand, he blasts the demon's carcass at point blank to insure it's death. Haplo then shifts his hand towards the location where he last daw BJ dissapear and fires a blast that levels all behind it for miles. Looking up at Reaper he plans his next attack.

(OOC: BJ and S_M, I want to go one on one with Reaper, to see what he can do. I think that's what he wants as well. Feel free to fight each other though

. S_M, sorry that I took you out so early, but I was expecting the next person to do something about the blast that was heading towards them, and no one did. I'll make it up to you by fighting you later though 8) )

SM looks out past his invisible barrier of invisibility. The demon he summoned is doing some fighting, and Reaper is going one on one with Haplo. RD and BD are going after Wolf, and doing well with it actually. SM would fight, but he is way burned out right now anyway. Except....for the Berserking potion. (OOC: The prepared mage has a potion for everything

) SM pulls out a small vial, takes a sip of it and hops up. His eyes are glazed over, and he has an intense urge to kill something.

The first thing he sees after taking a swig of the nasty brew is Wolf. SM cackles maniacally and pulls out his last weapon, an enchanted short swornd, and flies out to Wolf.

"Here doggy doggy! EAT THIS!!"

SM, still invisible, for a few seconds now, lifts the sword high above himself and plunges it into the unsuspecting Wolf's back. Wolf lets out a roar of pain, and madly swipes at its back, trying to get at the unseen pest. It smacks itself one or twice before getting a true blow on SM, and knocking him away. Of course, this gives the dragons an opening, and they start beating down on Wolf, forcing the doggy to return its attention to them. SM gets back up and starts fighting Wolf again, now visible, dividing the dog's focus into now three opponents.

Wolf howls in pain, and looks down at the cause of the injury...

You are a fool to become visible again S_M.

Wolf lifts his giant paw and squashes S_M into the ground. A pool of blood wells out from under it, and when the paw is lifted, all that is left of S_M is a stain. The dog then turns it's attention to other, more pressing matters.

(OOC: It's never a good idea to break into a fight between a giant dog and a dragon, S_M.

Just try to drink a potion now!)

(OOC: Haha, fight me after Reaper and I have at each other, and you'll have your fair shot at me...I'm thinking of opening a ranger school of survival in the saloon, where those who survive the school get awarded with a sword of the same make of the one that I'm using right now... the only sword that can withstand a lightsabres blows and not be destroyed... and it looks like this...)

SM respawns in the viewing area of the Arena.

"Well, that was a good fight. Ah well, I'm off to go harvest some evil souls to increase my power. Starting with...hmm...Gamespy. And than I will move onto Titus Interactive's HQ.Than I will return more powerful than ever! Muahahahahhaha!!!"

With that, he apparates out of the Arena, nowhere to be seen. For now, at least.

*Reaper sees the fall of the demon and the absorbtion of the magic, Reaper smiles as his hands trace a very strange pattern in the air. He puts his hand through it and unleashes the spell at Haplo's magic shield.

"See how your shield stands up to my shield breaker spell :twisted:"

*Reaper quickly follows the breaker with a volley of firebolts and leaps back and casts a huge ball of pure mana between his hands, Reaper hurls the unstable ball of mana directly to Haplo. Reaper looks at his dragons fighting Wolf. The dog is doing well considering it is fighting two dragons bigger than it which are also invincible.

"I don't think that fight is ever going to end."

Oh shit!

Seeing what is coming, Haplo quickly creates runic ice bolts behind the shield, and waits mere seconds for it to be destroyes. The ice bolts connect with the fire bolts, raining huge meteors of destruction on the field. Haplo then draws his sword and flys away, but the mana ball is homing in on him! Seeing this Haplo turns and slices the mana ball in half, but it explodes on contact with the sword, sending him plumiting to the ground. Haplo lands, and checks himself... his left shoulder is still hurt from the ice shard, and the blast cut his power down considerably.

I have to end this, now!

Using all the Strenght that he has left, he and Reaper begin a titanic struggle for acendency in the center of the arena. Each blow is landed with such force that they are felt all over the world. Haplo swings his sword at reaper's neck, who dodges quickly and slashes back with his lightsabre, gashing Haplo across the chest. Haplo reverses his blade and lunges deeply easily penetrating Reapers armor, his sword appearing out of Reaper's back. Reaper punches Haplo violently with his left fist, sending Haplo staggering back. They look at each other, knowing that they are both dying, seeing their fighting equal in each other. Niether is willing to surrender, both prepared to die... Reaper blasts at Haplo, who moves quickly, only to have his left arm severed by the blast. Haplo materializes behind Reaper, and swings with his good arm with all of his energy that remains...

Reaper's body lays in half before him, and Haplo is falling unconcious from his terrible wounds. Wolf, runs over, and slings Haplo onto his back and quickly dissapears, knowing that his master needs to recover, and that he would have no chance of winning if Reaper respawns.

(OOC: Actually, I don't have a lightsabre anymore, I stopped using that a while ago, I use either twin katanas or my rune sword. Great fight though.)

*Reaper is surprisingly still alive after the attack, his top half lying barely alive in a growing pool of blood. Reaper raises his hand and casts a finals spell, then he dies.

"I won't let you have the pleasure of killing me...."

*A huge bolt hurtles with frightening speed to Wolf and Haplo, they are unaware of it as it closes in. The bolt hits and engulfs the two in magical flame. The flames die down and Wolf is left lying on the floor badly wounded and Haplo is scattered over a wide area. Reaper does not respawn. RD and BD look around curiously, then BD says.

"Shit! I know what's going to happen, 'he' is going to appear."

(OOC: What do you expect from a veteran like me? hehe, I'll try to make your victory a little more defined next time, I promise.)

*A coffin falls to the arena floor. People look at it with doubt. Suddenly a hand bursts through the lid and is followed by another hand and then a body. The man emerges from the box and looks around. Some people remember the bone armour and plae face. Malus has returned to the arena to terrify and attack the others. HE looks at the dragons and casts a spell on them. They undergo a transformation and become black, covered in spikes, red eyes, basically they look REALLY evil. A voice is heard from the heavens, it is Reaper.

"Hey! Be sure to turn them back when you're done with them! I appointed you to stand in for me for three lives, then you're going back to your home dimention."

(OOC: I've been around. I've killed before. 8) I used to powerbattle a guy I knew back in the high school days of yore, and we both got pretty good at it. We even destroyed everything on the planet once, landing punches that made us fly backwards so hard that we crashed into cities and caused nuclear explosions. Hell, we even destroyed the entire earth once in a blast duel. I feel kinda limited in that small arena, that's why I fly a lot and punch people through walls and such. The battles would be so much more fun if I could use an entire world as a battle ground...)

*Malus stands still for a moment, he then reaches into a small bag on his side and pulls out strange small things, he scatters them in front of him and casts a spell on them. From the ground rise leigons of skeleton warriors, all bound by Malus' magic to his will and command.

"Who wants to try me then?"

*Malus pulls out his weapon, a sword made of pure bone (harder than it sounds) and waits for a challenger.

(OOC: Yeah, but to be "in" the arena is to be confined to a certain amount of space in itself. But to be fighting all over an entire planet.... think of it. Slamming people into the stratoshere, fighting underwater, in volcanos, forests, deserts, cities... the possibilities are endless when using an entire planet. Nothing would be out of bounds, and anything that you can think of, that normally would be out of context in the arena, would be perfectly applicable to such a battle. The range and power of such a battle is unparalled)

(OOC: Sounds like a good idea actually but I don't see that we could do it though, we would have to either do one-on-one duels and power up the abilities of the fighters or transform the whole arena into that and personally, I have no objections to the duel but I still enjoy the level of power given in the arena.)

(OOC: That's the beauty though... power doesn't HAVE to be escalated, I'm just saying what CAN be done. People that like mass destruction can do so, and people that want a realistic one on one duel in the setting of thier choice can do so as well. And people that want to have mass battles can still do so. You could challenge people to fight in your dark secluded castle or space fortress, and others could do much the same thing. Imagine tournamnents being fought in exotic locations...Such things can be planned before hand by saying what type of duel they expect from thier opponent in a few short words, like realistic, same setting, and weapons. Or Power, free roaming, and anything goes. That's why Guy and myself always used the entire planet as a battleground. 8) )
