Sure? I dunno? What do you consider retro?

Didn't you realize that lots of the stuff in Innocence was like 'looking fucking old but wasn't'?

Why ask a question you already knew the answer to?

Innocence was part 2 and couldn't you have just asked "Was Innocence Part 1.5 or Part 2" or I dunno, look at the cover which has that information contained within instead of phrasing it in such a vague question which the answer to can vary according to what exactly you think is retro.

1.5 was only a manga. Note the key word - he said he read it.

Which is hilarious because it takes more effort to type a message here than go to wikipedia and type in "Ghost in the Shell Innocence" or "Ghost in the shell 2." Lazy my ass, more like stupid. If you're gonna invent excuses for yourself, at least make sure they make proper sense.

Why bother having conversation and asking questions at all? We can just plug into the internet and gather all the information we need, then make our own opinions about everything. Other people just get in the way anyhow.

DaC is filled with anime whores eh?

I consider Akira in the same group as mainstream media. Its of the quality that you could put it in a theatre and lure people in to watch it. Some may enjoy it, some may not. Its not exceptional, but it isn't horse shit either.

Quite honestly, I never understood the hype Akira got. Its like watching a cartoon on saturday morning with nudity and swearing thrown in for kicks.

All anime sits in the same subculture for me and it will never elevate itself up until some maturity develops.

That isn't to say it hasn't already happened, I haven't found myself bored enough as of late to concern myself with the japaholics and their cartoon porn.
