The main problem with the super mutant in that screenshot is that it shouldn't be there in the first place. Whatever it looks like or is doing is irrelevant.
It seems like with each screenshot released the mutie armor gets more and more ridiculous. While I hated the VATS mutant I actually really dug the armor as well as the armor on the one pictured in your avatar. Lately, however, it is just getting absurd.
Well, to answer a question on the last page - the reason these look lower-res than Oblivion is pretty simple, and exactly what Bethesda wanted - they bought a franchise with a built-in fanbase (of course not knowing how rabid we are) that would branch them out of their TES games - same thing they did with DC of the E (CoC) they dont' have to work out a story, they dont' have to work out background, atmosphere, etc etc etc - all they have to do is tack on graphics to a ready-made game.
Very little work (comparatively), with a lot of return on the investment.
I still say what I said in the beginning - F3 will do well, because console kiddies will buy it (or their mummies and daddies will). It may even do alright on the PC, as there are plenty of (not) Fallout fans who will buy it just to see the story, and maybe relive a few good moments.
Bethesda isn't in it for the fans anymore (if they ever were, which I doubt) they are in for one reason only - money. Capitalism at it's finest. With all the hate going towards Bethesda, shouldn't some of it go to Herve or Black I....oh....I mean Interplay? They were the ones who sold it so they could finance a (possibly) shitty MMORPG......

I expect Fallout 4 about one year after F3 release.
I want the drug that you are currently using!
Shut up. Cunt.
He's right with that.
But he forgot the Fallout 3 expansion for only US$ 79,95 with 2 new towns and a whole set of new realistic weapons. Retro 80s style. It shoots <strike>HIV</strike> FEV and turns everything into living nuclear explosions. You meet Orlando Bloom and in the end they fully set it up for the second expansion, a la Half Life Episodes. You made some SENSE about this matter with your perspective, makes sense as the word of 'cunt' that you used for me, heh...we`ll see that releases
''Fallout 3'' (Bethesda Softworks): The long-awaited continuation of the classic post-apocalyptic role-playing series was the best-looking thing at last year's E3 trade show. If it's as good as Bethesda's ''The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion,'' it will be a Game of the Year contender.
