Gore -...i'm wondering...is it possible to remove the light fixture from a car, light and metal both, or perhaps even just the light, and manage to plug it in to a light socket to use for photography? Or would you have to still have it somehow connected to the cars wiring to use it as an external light? Thinking of going to the junkyard for cheap light fixtures...

it would blow the bulbs, unles you used a correct converter.
