What about the pulse rifle death animation? I like that one.
:rocol:
What about the "meat grinder" effect with a bozar? And remind me what the pule rifle death looks like, is that what Pyro is describing?

The nly problem with that one is that all the items then lie scattered around on the ground.

That happened in FO1, but in FO2 for me, I just go through the remains left behind and all the stuff is there as opposed to being scattered around...

I enjoyed the Plama weapon deaths (expecially when the victim was wearing combat armour).

The Alien Blaster in FO 1 has the same death animation.

Plasma weapons melting is really hot! I just love melting mutants and Enclaves

Ohh yes, that strategy applies for me too. If someone goes between the target and my vindicator, he gets minced. That's usually Sulik.

I would have never guessed it would be Sulik

I use (rarely when I use) only dogs as NPC's. You don't need to arm them and they can be found in several places.. and it's pretty awesome to have Dogmeat eating some raider legs.

Give sulik an SMG (like the HK G11) and tell him to stay close to you (in the combat settings)... no more dead sulik.

I give Cassidy the H&K G11. Sulik is good with sledge, he's my only close combat char. That's why I sometimes accidentally shoot him instead.

The weird thing is, whenever Vic accidentally hits me with his hunting rifle, he then suddenly scores a critical and I die. Just my luck... who'd ever thought you would have to save before a battle with golden geckos.

Sulik with and Bro. Sledge or .223 pistol along with Vic and Cassidy both using Gauss pistols makes a deadly firing squad, and no stray bursts to be spoken of.

All the party members get a really high bonus to critical chance as they level (Cassidy is 36% at lvl 4, thx FO2 Bible  ). And after a few level ups they almost never miss. However finding 2MM ammo for them is a bitch, but usually refill at 888 gunshop then steal my cash back. I gave them sniper rifles as a backup too.

If I had room for Marcus and his turbo plasma rifle, plus cybernetic brain-bot with another gauss/sniper combo would rock. Doesn't the robot have 10 APs? He could get two shots with a gauss rifle in a single turn... along with Vic and Cassidy and Sulik firing two shots per turn with their pistols. Hmmm
