So as I said late last month in one of those "Plans for the coming year" threads, I'm going to grow a beard. I also have decided to go ahead and grow out my hair (if possible).

I started the new year with a fresh shave of both face and head. It is almost the end of month 1. Time for a beard and hair update.

Yeah, it looks fucking stupid, I know. But I'm using it as an incentive for my class to all pass the big state reading test in a few weeks. I pretend I really like it and that if they pass, I'd shave it off. They think they've humiliated me, and I finally get to shave again.

There will be. If there was this much beard and hair to be had from just one month, I'm really interested in what month two has to bring. I think the tests are the first week of March. I'll update.

Reminds me that I really miss my hair, and really want to kill the bastards who tricked me into cutting it....Also reminds me that it sucks that I can't grow a real beard yet
