I never got the point of cheating in a community games unless it's for real $ profits. Why not just use cheats in singleplayer and be done with it.

On the word of bots, there is only one that currently works and is 100% undetectable. It's called MMbot. I am running 2 bots currently with vmware and have a nice inflow of items. If anyone is going to start playing again and is Europe SC Ladder or non-ladder, let me know and I can probably help you as much as to get started.
