Fallout the Movie
Fallout the Movie
If they made one, and they should, what actors do you think should play which characters in the movie?
My picks so far are:
Russell Crowe as the Wanderer
Sean Connery as the Vault Overseer
Harrison Ford as Killian Darkwater
Thats all I have so far

Yeah too bad this is a game, otherwise in real life you might actually be cool.

seriously
Seriously who else would you put in for people? Let's make the comprehensive list. What other actors would be which characters? Ian? Aradesh? Gizmo? Harold? Loxley?

Richard Dean Anderson. And yeah, he was Killian's voice. I don't know why all these people say such and such should be Killian. Anderson did his voice, and the talking head looked like him too. So it is a very big duh.Warlord wrote:Darn my memory. Who was MacGyver? Put him in Killians place as he is the voice already. Atleast I think he is.
Gizmo... Marlon Brando maybe? He is certainly large enough. Could probably do the voice too. I think he would make a pretty good Gizmo. As for the others, I don't know.
fuck

So long as they get Ron Perlman to narrate, it would be good.
Come to think of it, I remember reading in PC Gamer a few years ago that Interplay created a division called (I think) Inter play Movies, which would have made a movie about Fallout. The division probably died off years ago, but it's an interesting peice of trivia.

Gizmo... DEFINATELY Wayne Knight
The hooker in the Crash hotel should be Pamela Anderson, she is definately the hottest girl alive... ohh why did they have to censor her Saturday Night Live when she stripped on stage
I would pay my life savings to bone her
Rod Serling would be a good narrator, or actually whoever is the current narator is damn good, though Rod Serling would be better

Confront with understanding and love. Use violence as a last resort.

Yeah, but this time it's NEW and EXCITING! Mad Max is good, but it doesn't quite have that Fallout feel. I mean, if a Fallout game were to have a bunch of working vehicles in it like Mad Max does, the community would be up in arms. Oh wait... They *did* make a Fallout game with tons of working vehicles and the community *was* up in arms...

Uhm...I saw a movie called "fallout", I picked it up at a video shop. Glancing at the description on the back and saw "nuclear holocaust...", so what loyal Fallout (game) fan wouldn't pick it up?
Soon I would find the error of my ways... it's basically a very low budget movie that takes place in a fallout shelter, there isn't a single scene of the outside (they couldn't even open their pockets to get some real footage of the New Mexico bomb tests). Probably made by college students for a mid-term film class. The story starts like this; 6 or 7 people enter a fallout shelter after nuclear war happens, 3 women 4 men (something like that).
Anyway the story unfolds slowly (very slowly, hard to stay awake through the first half), the people are from all diffrent walks of life (college student, older business owner, up-and-coming young business professional, thug...)
Eventually the plot 'thickens' and the people start getting paranoid, accusing eachother of stealing rations, sleeping with another mans wife etc.. Eventually all the dudes in the shelter get laid by the women (women turn into complete tricks after nuclear holocaust I guess ). And some of the people get shot, I think there was supposed to be a twist ending where the nuclear war never happened (a faulty raid siren or some b.s.) but you wouldn't really care cause the acting was so bad and none of the characters had redeeming values anyway...
So I guess my point is they couldn't use 'fallout' as a name lest they provoke copyright infringment. Was at my local video shop for like a week then dissapeared (thankfully). This story should be in the boo-hoo forum...as I wanted to cry after it was over 8O

Sounds fun, I'd rent it.
