i think theres another 2 seasons planned out then its over. i quite liked it. some of the editing in the first half hour was a bit wonky and the sfx at the end=lol. but yeah, it was a pretty good episode. makes me want to rewatch it withing knowing what was going to happen, but sort of know. oh well, yes.

In all seriousness I worked as a apprentice electrician and did a little bit of sound shit. All you need to do really easy cable stuff is some smurf tube and a few faceplates, you can even use the ones that fix right on to drywall so you don't need a junction box. Just punch a hole in the wall, mount a faceplate, run the tube, punch another hole, bring it back out.
It helps if you know what you are doing with a fish tape to make sure anything goes where you want to.
Of course I forget where the fucking savages live on this board so if your town council is still afraid of ghosts then you don't exactly need to follow building code. Just make holes in the wall and push wire through. You can even screw a faceplate right into the wall to make it look nice.

I see. I've heard that people sometimes attach stuff between the cable to make the signal stronger. Does this make sense or is that a myth? Coz I know from experience that too long cables indeed tend to cause screw ups in many ways.

Yeah its just a cable amplifier. They cost maybe $20. In line black box type thing, you need one if you are running a significant length (~100ft) or especially if its spit more than twice. Before the split too.Dreadnought wrote:I see. I've heard that people sometimes attach stuff between the cable to make the signal stronger. Does this make sense or is that a myth?
