The CABLE MANAGEMENT Thread
A Tube Is A Tube
And a wire is a wire.
If hiding in plain sight.
Different styles of wire mold specifically designed and marketed for surface mounting, plastic, metal, usually sized for phone or network wiring.
For style, seen pvc pipe used as visible conduit, incorporated with the furniture-shelving. Looked like modular office schemes, run high or low out of eye level.
White, gray, light gray. Tinker-toy construction sheik.
Course there is metal conduit also. Industrial. Teh Shiny. Light gauge emt to hand to hand weapons grade -- rigid.

4too is right about wiremold if you aren't running a lot of cables and don't mind it being slightly visible. Using rigid or pvc is totally off though, smurf is much easier to work with and audio/visual cables don't require the kind of conduit that say 12ga wire does.
or
you pick.
I've done this for a living, if you can describe the project in detail then I can be detailed
Also I assumed in-wall, not the case? And for wall, things like these? Audio faceplates in many a variety exist!

one day I'm gonna get my shit together, man..
I used to work at radioshack and often loled inside when people bought eighty dollar MONSTER cables. They looked like they were gonna cry, but the rich folks up here HAVE to have the best, even after I tell them there is really no advantage to buying the expensive cable.
I tend to run my wires in a swell guy fashion. Mostly because I'm always moving shit around.
