Presidential Election
Who you voting for?
I think I would vote Constitution party, but they're not on the ballot here. Whats about you guys?
I decided to support third party candidates when possible. The two party system is a farce so no sense participating in the sharade.
I was actually gonna vote for Clinton, but she is no more and Obama gives me the heeby-jeebys. When I look at both the candidates, I see WW3 in their eyes.
So who the hell are you voting for? Or if youre a foriegner, would you vote for?

I'm voting nobody because the system is so horribly broken we might as well be communists. That said, Mccain is gonna win by a landslide victory. The midwest and south hates black people, and there's a lot of angry former Hillary supporters who are gonna vote Republican out of spite. Besides that, Obama hasn't done anything to deserve being President. He's all hype led by the Kennedys. Hillary will come back and win in 2012, though. I said all this before.
MMRW covered Obama really well for me. What the fuck has this guy done? Not a god damn thing other than act white and be the first black person to get the nomination. HE'S ONLY MADE IT THIS FAR BECAUSE HIS SKIN IS DARK AND IT CONFUSES PEOPLE.
off topic? OMG YOU'VE BEEN CENSORED... yet you're still posting. MYSTARY!!!!

I believe there was an oversight in this topic, namely Nader/Gonzales. Nader's managed to get on the ballot in NM, AZ and HI and there is still time to get on the ballot in other states.
That would be who I'm voting for, even if the Dems manage to embroil his ballot access drive in another legal battle and I have to settle for putting him down as a write-in candidate like I did back in '04.

@ "Waste Your Vote" Logic:
If you exaggerate the differences between 2 sets of dirty underwear it may seem like you should vote for 1 or the other.
If you vote for something different, your voting block may be noticed and spur the large blocs to try to woo your cause for a "pick up". So you might get a bit of your stuff done.

Yes, Nader is running as an Independent.
As for the whole "king maker/spoiler effect" logic:
1) I'm from Arizona. McCain is going to take AZ. That's virtually guarantied. So under the electoral college system my vote basically doesn't count.
2) You have to take a long-run view of things. If people keep voting for one of the "sets of dirty underwear" (as Redeye put it) the US is never going to get away from the two-party system, which is something that it definitely needs to. There really isn't a thin dime's difference between the two parties, and people need to start standing up to this system rather than simply acquiescing to it.
For me personally there's a lot at stake here. I am no fan of McCain's Iraq strategy. I have a vested interest in voting for a candidate that promises to get the US out of Iraq since I spend every other year in that quagmire that Bush got us into. Even if my vote for Nader were to ensure that McCain were to be elected, I'd still cast it, even though it means more rotations for me.
Then again, after seeing Obama's kow-towing to the Israel-lobby I'm not so sure we can rely on him to keep his word on middle-eastern policy. I've seen first-hand how heavily invested the US is in Iraq and I have no faith that Obama will stand up to the industrio-military complex once he's in office, even if he were to somehow come up with a solution to the logistical issues of getting the US out of Iraq quickly and safely.
As the old saying goes, "Money talks, and bullshit walks."
