Thing is, I see the News Section as Smiley's domain. He's more interested in it than I am, as is Catman, so I generally leave it to them to deem how they want their turf portrayed. So unless I happen to see something they've overlooked or not seen yet, in which case I'll mod it, I'll just leave it to them. On the other hand, I do browse GD, SJ&R'n'R and GG quite a lot myself when at campus and work etc - mostly at campus because it'll spawn ZOMG YOU'RE FIRED!!!!111oneoneoneexclemationmark comments from my supvervisor if they see me doing it at work. So I tend to mod more often there, especially when it's pictures that I -know- will generate PMs with "This is unsuited for work, could you do something about it?" if I don't do it fast enough.

Also, I sometimes just mod out of spite, especially when the OPer refers to me as a stingy feminist or something of the likes. *powerrush*
