Tried compatability mode allready.
If you know the answer you win a cookie.
try dosbox first and slow down the framerate for starters.
if that doesn't work, are you using a disc version, or a downloaded version?
BTW - SotHR was frickin awesome.
p.s. - please delete the post above mine. Not only does it make no sense, it's just retarded kthnxbai

If you set it up correctly all you do is type in /filename and it boots up. I have a how-to if you want it? It sounds like you didn't program it and so have to type in like 5 different lines every time you start it up?

Tried dosbox but it keeps telling me that I need microsoft windows or its not compatible with dos.
It is a downloaded version.
And yeah SotHR was awsome played it last time 10 years ago but my older brother broke the cd and threw it out the window claiming it had viruses.

Hmm.....okay not sure but there's a great troubleshooting guide here - PM Fourth Horseman or just leave a post as a guest on the forums and I'll give him a heads up if you let me know when you decide to, if you decide to. He's the guy I go to if I can't figure out something w/ dosbox but there's about a 95% chance that he'll get your problem solved.
