If that's the case then you and jazz have at least two things in common.Dreadnought wrote:Jazz is...just so fucking boring and fucking useless.
However, it isn't the case, so you're alone in being boring and useless.
Dave Brubeck ain't dead yet.Dreadnought wrote:Plus there is no more real jazzmen nowadays anyways.

i used to have that erik truffaz album on my computer, good loose synthy jazz, and some weird rappers on a couple of the cuts if i recall. i've got it backed up somewhere, if you're still looking it i'll happily dig it up & share, just let me know.
dj/rupture wrote a good piece which tries to deal with similar issues, also in the wake of the death of oink (never forget): http://www.negrophonic.com/2007/defendi ... nk-croaks/ -- a very good read (also a much shorter one)PiP wrote:edit: on a related note, if you want some food for thought and you're up to a longish read, check this http://www.demonbaby.com/blog/2007/10/w ... th-of.html

new economic models will inevitably take form, the riaa & similar old models have nowhere to go but away.

yo atoga, I need your musical advice as well.
I've come to like this particular track lately, some kind of ethno stoner reggae music I guess.

Unfortunately it seems the rest of the music that guy makes is rather bland. Recommend me some artists that strike a similar vein.
