Is it me or has any need for using strategy been removed from the game? Seems like he just walks around, not bothered by the fact people are actually shooting him, switching weapon carelessly.
G4 is pretty gay. I'm not a huge fan of referring to things as "gay", but I really can't articulate it any more successfully. If you want to witness the outright brainwashing/ corporate slavery of armies of teenage boys, just go watch some G4.
It's all about the consumer culture, with a glossy coat of pretentiousness.
I don't even see anything special about combat... there is absolutely no use of cover as far as I can tell. GTA4 has better looking combat, and it also has driving and great storyline, interesting characters, etc...
This game so far has none of those things as far as I can tell.
Oh and did anyone notice that he never missed in VATS, despite the fact that several times he had a pretty low chance of hitting the enemy?

I'll probably just play it as ObliviStalker
I will have fun
I will also be quite annoyed
Yeah. The sad part is, he was showing off the game's most appealing features to the media. Expect the game to be much dumber than what we just saw. :lolblivion:
Those of you who did not not write it off as a total failure, I'm intrigued as to the qualities that you found to be redeeming. What were they? I am not even exaggerating when I say that I did not find anything in the game that would have been even mildly interesting.

I liked the environmental work they've done. other then that, meh.
I liked the idea of the floating robot that plays enclave radio, but they had to go and ruin it by making it available through the pip-boy. It completely ruins the novelty of it.
Is nobody bothered with inclusion of super mutants and the Enclave in Fallout 3? Both of these 'threats' were eliminated in the previous games. Bethesda probably thought it'd be cool to include shit from previous games instead of creating new plot elements of their own. Apparently the BoS from Tactics also seemed a good idea. In a truly 'lol, continuity, what is that?' -fashion, they'll probably figure out a loophole in the story to justify these changes.
Compared to the Van Buren crew, Bethesda (once again, I might add) shows complete lack of creativity when it comes to story design. We're in for the same rehashed, run-of-the-mill sandbox action RPGing.
