Subhuman wrote:Speed was pretty good, all things considered. They don't make that kind of balls-out action movie anymore without CGI-ing everything to hell. If they made Speed today, it would star Colin Farrell and Kate Hudson, Christopher Walken would be the terrorist, and there would be no actual explosions, just fluffy orange-and-yellow clouds from the effects guy's computer. And an iPod would factor somehow, somewhere into the plot.
My thoughts exactly. Even though CGI actually looks realistic, you just know it's fake. Guess the new generations don't mind it, that's all they saw.

I liked speed, it had action and a very sunny feeling to it. The bus jumped over the gap because of air resistance okay, which created a stall for the bus but allowed it to complete the jump without coming short.

Titanic was like Terminater 2 and the last tango in paris combined. All the stuff with the destruction of the titanic was cool but the kiddy love scenes was a bit over the top. I remember i cried a bit in the theater though when jack let go.

Coming yo, but it's not like I watch shitty movies every day, I just sometimes happen to stumble on one on TV.

Though I did watch Lethal Weapon last week, but that's '87 D:

Naw, it was actually funny, especially Danny Glover.
