If you want to keep a shell of a newsposter, go ahead. Not like anyone visits DAC for its news value. Of course, this wasn't always the case...

I don't even know what plan or strategy KoC has for this website, or if he even has one. Maybe its time to rethink the purpose of DAC, instead of postponing that decision by another couple of years. By the way, Fallout 3 is going to be released in less than 3 weeks time.

As for moderation, the current code of action seems to change with whoever is online at the time and what their mood is. Moderation has lacked consistency for about as long as I can remember. Keeping the forums(wasteland excluded) work-safe is more than sufficient for me. It can't be that fucking difficult. And quite frankly, Smiley's constant cockfighting with Dreadnought is getting rather discouraging. Why Dreadnought is still asshatted, is beyond me.

Hopefully whoever runs this place still values an honest opinion. If not, you can edit this message to whatever suits your ego.

With the current history of moderation, I'd rather have none at all. The DaC collective hivemind makes a better job at moderating than any specifically assigned person would. It takes just one active admin to move the occasional tubgirl to the Wasteland.
