DAC's Future - Dreadnought Edition

1. New website, content spread over more pages. Fuck me, DAC looks crammed!
DAC looks like from 15 years ago.

2. Focus on everything post apocalyptic, to reestablish DAC's credibility. Fallout's dead baby.... Fallout's dead.

3. Change staff - or at least some enforcement of staff activity.

4. Technical overhaul. I mean... look at it.

5. Less forums sections:

a) News forum

b) Trash Can

c) General Discussion should merge with Sex Jet N Rock n roll.

d) Fan Art/Fiction ( maybe more focus on this? a bit tidier would be great!)

Maybe some really nice upload function and an album that doesn't look like shit.

e) WASTELAND! Most useful forum section IMO.

f) merge to a General Fallout forum - who the hell needs a forum for each Fallout game?

(well since F3 is new, a F3 forum could still make sense...)

g) a general modding forum for all kinds of post apoc mods for (post apoc) games

scrap the technical forums, merge editing with modding, scrap tactics mapping

scrap the polish board, since nobody is using it anyway.

I mean we all know something needs to be done. Sure my ideas aren't perfect, so feel free to comment, correct, bitch and whatever else comes to your mind. Goatse spam is accepted as constructive criticism.

I also suggest, as probably already noticed anyway, to cut a bit on the moderators. 99 % of them are useless due to lack of action or wrong actions. (1 % error tolerance)

I suggest St. Toxic to stay mod, because he's smart enough and a nice creative person.

Blargh's art to express things in ways only he and hamsters can understand qualifies him for this position as well.

Thor Kaufman, for being German.

Poops, Vasikka, Megs for being old skoolers. Even though they're plebeian and dumb, I think they know the score.

Feel free to REALISTICALLY improve this list. I don't wanna read any more crap from MR Snake and other people incapable of tying their own shoes.

I would love to change my behaviour... but seeing that this place rots away, an you yourself add to this, I actually wonder WHY?
Anyway, I didn't mention hostility, did I? Hostility is what makes DAC actually quite fun.

Well to keep it short, get rid of Smiley and compact the forums and maybe make the home page look less like designed by a retard and DAC should prosper again. Don't deny it just because I said it. It's not like I wanna do any harm to anybody.

I think I'd be a good moderator, I rarely post, but I still check the forum constantly.

I've done it before on some other forums, I was an administrator for the official Gone with the Blastwave forum, if that could give me any credibility.

Just throwing that out there.
