This thread is for all the potential Wasteland nostalgia. What were your favorite bits in the Wasteland, and what will you miss the most about it?
I usually cheered myself up by checking out Cleck's story thread, and some of his other threads. Megatron's Halloween thread from 2005 was pretty short and sweet also. Except for the :random: format the Assimilate collection was also quite excellente.
Where the fuck did it go? And whose decision was this? Not that I mind, or anything, I'm just suprised all the talk of getting rid of the Wasteland actually came to fruition. This place is usually so stagnant.
It's in fact the only reason to be here. It's not like DAC can provide social interaction or game related information of any relevance beyond that of a stomped cockroach.
Please, for the love of God bring the Wasteland back. The entire forum has reached a point without it that its NSFW, and I don't want to be seeing whats being posted all across the forum in every thread (tubgirl, goatse, etc...).
I vote we ban smiley. He is locking threads too, and he must go, he is a worthless admin and no one here likes him. If it was not for the wasteland dac would have died ages ago.

While DAC is hardly a democratically regulated forum, this post would have made more sense in GD rather than Managment only.
It's really sad having like 2 people dictating the place's policies. Especially when one of those two is super straight and is a humorless douche.
Maybe the Wasteland was meaningless to one or two person, but how was it offending? It's not like anybody forces you to open a thread in the Wasteland. And you just know what's awaiting you in a WL thread.
While I didn't always visit the Wasteland it was a place to let your mind express itself no matter who was listening. I also see a conflict of interest. Smiley recommended the wasteland be removed and KoC said it should be no big deal if moderators are active and yet only smiley is an active moderator.
Any posts or discussions he doesn't like will be gone forever which would mean we won't see much of St. Toxic posts.
Vasikka, in Titanic jack said you stay on the boat as long as possible cause the water was freezing so they waited till the last part of the boat hit the water and then kept kicking while holding each other hands. I feel like that is how DAC is okay.
