Fallout 3 Manual Released
[ Game -> Images ]

Since FO3 is available for pre-order on steam, they have the manual loaded on there already and you can take a look at it. Here is some tid bits I took from DarkUnderlord:

* The Power of Choice! Feeling like a dastardly villain today, or a
Good Samaritan? Pick a side or walk the line, as every situation can be
dealt with in many different ways. Talk out your problems in a
civilized fashion, or just flash your Plasma Rifle.
* Mind-Blowing Artificial Intelligence! At Vault-Tec, we realize
that the key to reviving civilization after a global nuclear war is
people. Our best minds pooled their efforts to produce an advanced
version of Radiant AI, America's First Choice in Human Interaction
Simulation. Facial expressions, gestures, unique dialog, and lifelike
behavior are brought together with stunning results by the latest in
Vault-Tec technology.

I doubt it is anywhere close to the previous manuals but you can read the whole thing here.

Spotted @ RPG Codex

They're in, you just can't kill them. Infact, there's a whole town of very Oliver Twist-esque children that you can enslave. I know that sounds awesome, but I garuntee you it's not that cool. You talk to a slaver and then head to the unground child town where you're constantly called "Mongo." You talk to a kid and tell him to go outside with you, the slaver talks to the kid for like afew moments and the screen goes black and you're at the slaver's place.
What the fuck? I thought there weren't supposed to be children in this game?
What's wrong with it? There were children on FO2 and even a perk wich was childkiller to those little pricks who enjoyed watch them bleed. I found out that when my fat fuckhead friend called Vic shotted Orville Wright's in burst mode with a Pankor Jackhammer caughting 2 of his unfortunate sons in the middle... Then the little pricks started throwing me stones everytime they saw me, i always ran away but cassidy and vic didn't seem to like the idea so they killed them all. To me it did no diference but it was only til i got killed in NCR by those fucking cops with Gauss Rifles...... suckers.
And by the way... i found a few stones in those kids (and flowers

Wow that was insightful. Thanks for letting everyone know there were children in FO2!Myron wrote:What the fuck? I thought there weren't supposed to be children in this game?

It comes out tomorrow, right? I would love to rent it but doubt it'll be in my Blockbuster. Patience... patience..
