Fallout Not Being Sold in India

In an official statement released, Microsoft had to say the following:<br><br><em><blockquote>Microsoft constantly endeavors to bring the best games to Indian consumers in sync with their international release. However, in light of cultural sensitivities in India, we have made the business decision to not bring Fallout 3 into the country.<br><br></em></blockquote>My guess? Brahmin. Cows are sacred in India and Brahmin is an Indian cultural and religious term to my understanding. If the cows are like the ones on the previous fallouts... two headed and the only thing they do is to fill the floor with Brahmin shit... then i dont see whats the problem in killing them. And besides i dont recall any mission were we had to kill cows... so i think that if someone kill them is simply because they wanted to and not because they had to. Not no mention this is just a game...

Saving that special encounter on Fallout 2 when you have to run away from a bunch of mad cows that walk toward's you and blow up to pieces (hehehe)... still you dont have to kill them if you dont want to...
