Just got back from the new Bond flick and wanted to post some quick thoughts.
I definitely liked it, but not much really happened in the movie. Well, lots of stuff happened, but it felt like not much actually changed. If you see it, you'll probably know what i mean. We learn a bit more about the super secret organization, but not enough to flesh it out and make it seem like a real threat. The villain of the movie could have been good, but his character was developed enough. I was definitely left wanting more out of the movie. Overall, I'd give it a 7 out of 10. Or, on the Fallout 3 scale, a 13/10.

It was pretty much more of the same. I agree that the organization and the villains of the movie didn't feel threatening enough; they're just trying to profit from 3rd world dictatorships. Should I feel sorry or what?
I like the up close and personal action sequences, like how Bond takes a hit every time he jumps from a roof. One thing that puzzles me though; if he's so cool and composed all the time then why is he trying to get revenge in the first place?
Still, D.C. easily beats the pseudo-charming Brosnan any time of the day. Less gadgets and less unwitty one-liners is definitely an improvement.

Agreed. I was worried it wouldn't stack up to the first, as they hired a less qualified director this time around. I'm def up for more of the same though.S4ur0n27 wrote:Then I'll be happy. Plus, Olga is quite hot.
