Burn After Reading
Just came back from watching it. Thoughts?
I liked Clooney as being slightly neurotic and Pitt as being adorably stupid. In the kind of 'I'd fucking punch you if I knew you in real life, but you're pretty cute on screen, in the retarded area' way.
All the women made me cringe at my own gender.
Also, I liked sitting back with the feeling of having learned nothing of great value apart from the fact that people and our inter relations are tragic at times - and yet still have felt that deep emotions were touched. Alongside some pointless comedy and violence.
All in all, I liked it.

It had it's moments but it wasn't cohesive. It was odd, it was as if the Coen's were trying to make a Coen Brother's movie. Strange effect, that. Also I didn't really get the subtext until the whole "league of idiots" spiel. I dunno, the idea behind the film and what they were doing with it were fantastic, it just wasn't 100% there for me.
my vocabulary skills is above you.
