started a new job this week. Pays awesome (practically earning double what I'm used to), but hours are a bit shitty. with 6am starts. Hopefully it'll be ongoing till I at least go back to school in 3 months

warehousing basically. Loading, unloading trucks, picking, relocating stock between depots. Lots of fun.

I'm a Staff Sergeant in the Mechanized Infantry and am currently in charge of a Bradley Section of two vehicles.

Pros:

- Decent pay, especially since I'm married now.
- Passable benefits
- Opportunities for travel
- Experiencing things most only dream of.
- Qualifications that have very lucrative post-service contracting opportunities.

Cons:

- Unpredictable, shitty hours.
- Extended deployments.
- People try to kill me.

All-in-all, not such a bad gig.
