<strong>[ Game -> Update ]</strong> - More info on <a href="#Fallout 3">Game: Fallout 3</a>
<p>Briosa's <a href="http://planetfallout.gamespy.com/" target="_self">PlanetFallout</a> has loads of little tweaks and modifications for Fallout 3, and here's a roundup of the latest:</p><blockquote><em><a href="http://planetfallout.gamespy.com/mods/6 ... 2">CRL9000 Sound Modification</a> by Crawlius: Custom engineered sound replacements with an emphasis on powerful, satisfying weaponry.
<a href="http://planetfallout.gamespy.com/mods/6 ... epixilated Revelations Quote</a>
by Midnight Voyager: Ever wonder why that framed Revelations quote
looks like it was sized up from a very small scale and then saved as a
low-quality JPEG? Well, I work with graphics, so it bugged me to death.
I HAD to redo it.
<a href="http://planetfallout.gamespy.com/mods/7 ... PCs">Named Megaton NPC's</a>
by Ancharos: This mod adds names to all of the "Megaton Settlers" in
Megaton, also names the Children of the Atom (See further down for info
on this) and Moira's mercenary. There all rationally named, I didn't go
to crazy on the names (i.e no "StarChild" or "ZOMG" or
"MASTERCHIEFF117" or "MARCUS FENIX"). I used a website that listed
popular first names from the 1950's, which definitely helped.
<a href="http://planetfallout.gamespy.com/mods/6 ... PCs">Named Underworld NPC's</a>
by Ancharos: This mod adds names to all of the "Underworld Residents"
in Underworld. The names where intelligently chosen, no female NPC's
will be named steve and such. There are only a few nicknamed ones which
I picked by simply just looking at the characters face. For example, I
chose the name Blue for one of the NPC's because most of his face was
blue, nothing too complex :D I'll be working on Megaton and Rivet City
next.
<a href="http://planetfallout.gamespy.com/mods/5 ... e">Updated Princess Rivet City House</a>
by Princess Stomper: The house belongs to James, but of course you may
live there. It is the one he shared with your mother, but it fell into
disrepair for nearly two decades. Fortunately, it was quickly restored,
and is now a handy place for you to stay in the Wasteland's most
civilized city. Its decor is comparable to Tenpenny Tower, since
James's experiments demand utmost cleanliness.</em>

Also we have a new <a href="http://planetfallout.gamespy.com/utilit ... y:</a></em>
<blockquote><em><a href="http://planetfallout.gamespy.com/utilit ... >UltraEdit Syntax Highlighting</a>

in UltraEdit for Fallout 3 scripts. Features * NEW! FOSE v0001 beta 1

Placeholders for FOSE plugins, future Fallout 3 versions, and

There's a mod to make it so wiping out the family doesn't cause a negative karma hit, because it shouldn't.Davaris wrote:So is anyone adding new quests or improving the current ones?
There seem to be promising beginnings for new quests on that mod site, but nothing fully functional yet.

I still think the perk "Stange Scent" would be a tasty addition.
Also, now that custom NPC followers and new weapons can be added, I think it might call for a look into Garry's Mod to see what we might be able to benefit from.
