A china man goes blind, and then everyone he is in contact with goes blind so pretty much everyone goes blind in this movie except for one chick who pretended to be blind so she could help her now blind eye doctor of a husband.

I though it was pretty meh 5/10, average rating.
Its kind of an Apoc movie, not post apoc as all you need is a month to have the entire world look post apoc, but the late scenes when they are wandering the city is pretty cool.

The idea looked interesting but the preview looked somewhat buttastic.

Pretty relentlessly bleak film. I dug it. Apparently the original cut was far better but they softened it up for the theatrical release.

How do you cut up a drama type movie for theatrical release? That sounds more like a directors whining about how horrible the movie did at the boxoffice.

No doubt. I'm just saying they softened it up considerably and made it much more hopeful. Now, given how fucking insanely bleak the film was, image how much better it would have been if it didn't get all huggy/fuzzy at the ending. Also I get the feeling they switched the narrative around a bit in the theatrical release. The flow seemed a bit off. Either way, here's hoping for an uncut DVD release.
