Starcraft 2 anyone?
Personally, I'm not really interested in playing it, I just want to see if it lives up to it's predecessor (I doubt, but hey).

HL1 redone on the source engine. It looks pretty damn bueno and HL1 is one of my favourite FPSes of all time. I can speedrun through that shit with eyes shut. Should be out in the near future.

for those interested in FEAR 2:
there's a massive video preview (in-game footage) of 1st mission at a Polish gaming site (obvsly spoilers)
http://gamecorner.pl/gamecorner/1,86013 ... zywo_.html
text is in PL but you know where to click eh
If you want to see some action just go to the bit marked 17:04.
So far - corridor shooter with bullet-time. Kind of reminds me of Blood 2 and Max Payne

Hopefully some of the level design and enemy placement will be different. I enjoy the shooter, but having exactly the same experience on new graphics? No thank you.Manoil wrote:I'm with Frater on this one. I've been waiting on Black Mesa: Source for a while now, and the sooner they get it done, the better. Half-Life is one of my top-ten franchises, along with Fallout and Aliens.

Hate to kill your buzz mangos, but judging by that, and in general, 09 seems like another shitty year in gaming. I can only anticipate, or hope rather, that someone'll be "playing the Joker card" if you know what I mean.aries100 wrote:I'm awaiting these games in 2009:

that article also says the project was cancelled, but Gearbox seems to retain that it's still under development... might require some clarification
