Indie developers are overrated.
The crap-to-quality ratio is about the same as with professional developers.

Example of an indie game that's actually good please. Good as in worth the effort of downloading.

Killa.
Age of Decadence is on my watch list, but it's probably not as good as expected. The story and gameworld seem rather meh.

Audiosurf is something I go back to play time and again whenever I hear a song that I think would go great with it.
Armageddon Empires would be very awesome if it included multiplayer.
World of Goo is said to be pretty fun, but never tried it.

The next game, Solium Infernum, will have multiplayer.

So I've noticed. I'm not really keeping up to date on it's progress or anything like that, but I did read up on it when it was announced.

My brother's been playing Dwarf Fortress for like 2 fucking months now and he keeps on going on about how awesome it is. I heard that there's like some kind of 6h tutorial video out there or some shit, but I just don't have the internet connection to be able to download / stream that shit.
