if you can successfully target the knee, why not just shoot it in the head? Sometimes in tight, dark spaces it's not great to have zombies crawling around.Superhaze wrote:Question. Would not shooting zombies in the knees pretty much be the answer in all zombie encounters?
Zombies attacking. Shoot in legs. Zombie slowly crawling. Me running. Rinse. Repeat.

Anyway, the head is just a larger target, and if the zombies are capable of shifting their weight to mostly one leg, you've gotta get both knees.
and you have to make a pretty accurate shot in order to shatter the knee, because if you're too high or low there's a good chance you're just hitting muscle. Now with a shotgun you could very easily rip apart a knee, but, again, if thats possible just blow the head off and be done with it.

My understanding of zombie biology is that if you manage to decapitate a zombie then it's dead forever.

how can any of you dumba$$e% forget Fulci film series: ZOMBU

'The' trilogy is pretty hardcore with lots of body popping and eyes on sticks and melting and all sorts of shit, real good. It's more supernatural zombies in that that they cant really be stopped and are sometimes ghosts possessed by demons or some shit, it's pretty INTENSE. The best one is The Beyond I think. City is a nice primer. House by the cemetery is more of a slasher with undead in it and not as good as the other 2 (still alright), but beyond is cest magnifique dudes, you should totally watch all 3 back to back if you havent already.
