Sounds like some sort of STD now. Sci Fi should stick to what they should be sticking to - science fiction/fantasy/etc instead of trying to appeal to casuals with shit like ECW wrestling.

Sci Fi is coming off the best year in its history. In primetime it ranked 13th in total viewers among ad-supported cable networks in 2008. Itâ€™s a top-10 network in both adults 18 to 49 (up 4%) and adults 25 to 54 (up 6%).

Sci-Fi channel really needs to be called the "straight to video monster b-movie channel". Anytime I turn it on it's like "Constrictor 8", Reptile 7 etc.
You can't find shittier sci-fi than on the sci-fi channel.

Is there any reason at all to watch this channel since the fuckers shitcanned Mystery Science Theater 3000?

The more I think about it, the more I realize that DAC is in dire need of a name change.

We need to keep up with the times, and appeal to some non mouth-breathing, cynical, hate-filled chalky basement dwellers.
