Exactly and we use lots of vietnam war era equipment! I remember walking yesterday in the city when this old man stopped me and asked what part of the military I was after a bit of chit chat he walked away and said oh ok you guys use the sanla right? This confused me as the guys was like 70 or something, made me think how fucking old equipment do we use.
Using old equipment and running around with cable reels is designed to fuck you up during your service; they've got no function during war time no matter what they tell you. I remember setting up a comm centre with equipment dating back to 1920's.
