I read some good reviews of it. I'll have to get it now. Thanks for the recommendation.

Just got my feet wet with Dark Athena this afternoon. So far the atmosphere is great and they seem to have ramped up several gameplay elements. All around the gamplay is tighter, though I can't comment too heavily on story as of yet. One thing I CAN say, however, is that you really should play ALL of Butcher Bay before even watching the opening cinematic for Dark Athena, tempting though it may be.

Alright. I played through a fuckton of Dark Athena last night and it is spectacular. It starts off with a VERY strong emphasis on stealth that gradually moves more toward shooting and action. The drone concept is fucking brilliant, as is there combat use, and I think it took all of six hours before I got any kind of gun I could carry with me. GOOD DESIGN. I dig having work my way up to a shotgun. Oh yeah, the combat has been given a major overhaul and the melee shit is far and away better than it was in Butcher Bay or any other game I can think of for that matter.

So, you still think its good and worth getting? It hasn't really been making any buzz at all in the industry.
