The Books thread.

Talk about music, movies, TV, books, other types of entertainment and what your vices are. Also, if you're addicted to the high you get off Aspirin, this is the place to talk about it.

This is the only one I've read about the topic so far: http://www.amazon.com/Masters-Death-SS- ... 775&sr=8-1

Pretty solid stuff, but there are probably some better ones out there if you speak German.

Reading M.G. Lewis's The Monk. I'm only a few pages in but it looks promising.

Just finished The Road. Didn't really know what to expect when I started reading it, and was fairly enjoyable to read. Although, I don't really understand how they could make a movie out of it...

Recently grabbed up all the Iain M. Banks culture novels I could find. The Ship names are very entertaining.
I miss the good ol' USSA.

Finished reading Hannah Arendt - The Human Condition some while ago.

If you want to mess your head, I could recommend this to you. This shit is crazy, man, bat-shit-crazy.

finally finished Pirsig - he's good, I don't have that much patience for 90% authors I even touch. Now I'll need to read some stuff about therapy/psychoanalysis for my college (yea I'm getting educated yet again)
Wonder how will I do with reading what's required now that I'm older.
