Just bought it, only $4.99 so I figured whatevs...

Installing now, is it any good?

I played it back when they did their first free weekend trial thing. Was pretty fun, and for $5 you could probably do alot worse.

It's like Battlefield 1942 but more technical. And it takes place on the eastern front.

The ballistics are much more accurate, damage more realistic (if you get shot in the arms or hands, you drop your weapon, in the legs make you move slower, and a shot to the chest or head is generally instant death. Vehicles are armored more realistically and have a correct range for weapons.

It's pretty fun, but for a guy like me who is more used to arcadey tripe like battlefield and quake, it's freakin' hard.

Waiting to get the hang of it.

i played it as a mod a while ago and you couldn't activate the crosshair D: kinda tough to get used to it

Pretty sure it's instant. Though I've never killed anyone with it, only been killed by it.

yeah tried to play it once long time ago but it was laggy/buggy/jerky/etc beyond belief
