[ Game -> Update ]

The Fallout trilogy is way above the sales of Fallout 3 but I wonder how many people bought the trilogy thinking FO3 was included in it.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King / Blizzard / $39

I would imagine that the only reason that the trilogy surpassed F3 in PC sales was that most F3 fans play it on X-bocks.
I have returned! (again)

Not really. The pack was first issued years before Fallout 3 came around and called trilogy then. The cover clearly shows which 3 games it contains. You have to be a complete retard to think it contains F3, which I guess is why Poops expects people to have that difficulty.Kashluk wrote:I've got to agree. Calling that pack a 'trilogy' is a bold, but smart move.

The way I see it, the Fallout series consists of two installments and several spinoffs. A fallout trilogy just doesn't sound right. Tactics is and remains a generic (tactical) warfare game wrapped in a Fallout skin; just like FO3.
However, I can fully understand why IPLY is marketing its collection as a trilogy yet it doesn't bother me at all. We're used to this shit, right?

The way I see it, a dead company is trying to grab some potential profit at the expense of a shitty company that deserves to die. This marketing strat gets my full approval.VasikkA wrote:However, I can fully understand why IPLY is marketing its collection as a trilogy yet it doesn't bother me at all.
